I’m very late posting this—but here we go! The lovely Tacarra asked me to make a leotard for her baby’s dance competition. I had a vision, but let’s be real… I needed backup to bring it to life. So I called in the big guns— Dana Monee

Dana (who actually does dance costumes for real—not me pretending) came through like the costume fairy godmother she is. From brainstorming to final rhinestones, we pulled late nights, fought with fabric, and probably lost a few brain cells—but we did it. I’m forever grateful for her hands, her help, and her patience.

Shoutout to my girl Nashira Swift-McKeller another dope designer, crown-maker, and emotional support human. She whipped up the crown piece for me to cut and sew, and also graciously listened to me cry mid creative block. A true friend.

Grateful for talented, generous friends who show up when it counts.

And finally— Tacarra, thank you for trusting me and the process, challenging me, and lowkey stressing me out. I loved this one. 💕

I had the privilege of making this beauty’s wedding dress! I don't sketch—I drape, pattern hack, or make my own patterns. She trusted the process. This corset is made from bra cups. I can't even explain what I did, but I did it and it's done! 😂 I'll post pictures later ❤️🙏🏾
