We were honored to be part of Dawson Knox’s ProCamp this weekend at Nazareth University! 🏈💙❤️🙌

It was great to see #88 in action doing what comes so naturally: encouraging, lifting up, and showing firsthand what it means to lead and play with character and heart.

We’re grateful to be included in a day that was all about teamwork and learning inspired by a cherished P.U.N.T. teammate who gives so much to our game plan to make a meaningful difference for kids and families facing pediatric cancer.🎗️

It is our privilege to honor Chelsea Campbell, a brave pediatric cancer warrior who died on May 2nd at 9 years old. ❤️‍🩹🕯️

Her mom shared: “To know Chels was to feel joy. She was vibrant, determined, and endlessly inquisitive, a warrior girl with a sparkle that could light up any space. She moved through the world hand-in-hand with her built-in best friend, her twin sister Charlotte, and together they made magic in the everyday.

Chelsea loved the simple wonders of childhood: playing in the grass, inspecting bugs, running barefoot as fast as she could. She adored animals of all kinds and was forever asking, “What’s that?”—curious about everything and everyone around her. Disney princess movies were always on rotation in her world, brought to life through singing, dancing, and imaginative play alongside her sister.

There was a gentleness to Chelsea, a kind, thoughtful way she met life that made everyone feel seen and loved. Her big hugs and infectious smile were gifts she gave freely. Her carefree love of life shone through in all she did, leaving an imprint on every heart she touched.”

Chelsea will forever be remembered for her sweet yet sassy spirit, her fearless joy, and the love she shared so effortlessly. 💖

We extend our support and ultimate compassion as we continue to walk beside her loving family. ♾️ 💕💗💝🩷

Happy Birthday, Jonathan! 🎉💛

Today we celebrate Jon McGrath, our Director of Mission Advancement and one of the most genuine, kind, and selfless people you could ever know!

After the unimaginable loss of his son Cooper to cancer in 2021, Jon chose purpose from his pain, transforming grief into hope and tireless advocacy for families facing pediatric cancer. Because of his relentless heart for this mission, every service PUNT Pediatric Cancer Collaborative provides has grown in reach and impact. He also co-founded our region’s new peer-support grief center, WNY Compassion Connection, extending compassion to bereaved families when they need it most including starting a “Dads Navigating Grief” group.

Jon is the ultimate team player — an authentic leader who is always looking for ways to lift others, support the mission, and lead with care.

We are endlessly grateful for his heart, his dedication, and the sincerity he brings to this work every single day.

Wishing Jon a birthday filled with love, peace, and all the goodness he so freely gives to others. 🧡🎈

The “P” in P.U.N.T. stands for Perseverance! Thanks, Jeff Glor for going the distance for our mission. 🎗️💛👊🏻

After what happened in Boston 20 years ago (two collapses and a trip to medical tent before finishing), I never thought I’d run a marathon again. After what happened in the hospital 10 years ago (two emergency back surgeries) I never thought I’d run again. Actually, I didn’t think I’d walk properly ever again. Well, guess what? We did it. Most importantly, we did it for . Congrats to all runners!!!

Some people don’t just lead organizations; they build spaces of care, compassion, and hope that ripple through an entire community. Gwen is one of those people. 🫶🏻

At P.U.N.T. Pediatric Cancer Collaborative, her leadership is rooted in deep empathy and an unwavering commitment to supporting children and families facing pediatric cancer. Through her work founding and leading Western New York Compassion Connection, she creates space for grieving children and families navigating unimaginable loss.

If you’ve spent any time with Gwen, you know she is a natural healer in the truest sense. She listens intently, meets people exactly where they are, and brings a light into the room that people don’t forget. There’s a warmth and humanity in the way she connects that makes others feel truly seen and cared for.

Her leadership is powerful not because it is loud, but because it is deeply felt. She inspires everyone around her through both what she builds and who she is.

Today, we’re so grateful to celebrate her. Happy birthday, Gwen. 💛🍎💙🩵

Yesterday, Parkdale Elementary School in East Aurora was encircled with love and legacy in memory of cancer warrior Nate Ljungberg through the The 2.8 for Nate Foundation Walk.

It was a true privilege to serve this remarkable young man during his battle with Ewing’s sarcoma, and an even greater honor that we can serve others in Nate’s name as a beneficiary of the foundation’s efforts.

Nate was kind and courageous, a star lacrosse player and an amazing son, brother and friend who continues to inspire impact in his school community and far beyond…✨✨✨✨🎗️
