This is a scam. Never follow a link sent in an unsolicited text message.

The problem with this reporting is that it leaves out some important details. The circuit boards in a graphics card and other computer components are multi-layered static sensitive boards with surface mounted components that cannot be safely re-soldered outside of a manufacturing environment with an industrial wave solderer. The long and the short of it is that even if you have the schematics and the part, you do not have the tools required to make a good repair.

We are pretty sure it has something to do with data collection, but they aren’t saying. Bottom line…if it’s online, if it costs money to create and maintain, and if it’s free…..there is an almost certain chance that it is monetized through data collection.
