As the heat index rises, I recommend holding or slightly decreasing the daily work load. Be observant of sweat & breathing patterns as well as having a good cool out routine.

WDAA ( Western Dressage) at Washington County Fair Park for the Spring Party Show. Thanks Nancy Porter & crew for hosting! Bama had 2 qualifying rides today toward World Show. It’s a great time to reevaluate equipment fit. This filly has grown & with that the shape of her back has changed. This saddle & pad combo used to be the one that fit best. At this point the rock (front to back) looks wrong. After her growth, I feel we can find a slightly different combo to keep her even more comfortable.
