All the moods for Friday Prelims at Sectionals! Our boys are getting ready for a nice weekend of long course swimming.

Congrats to our very own swimmer, coach, and former board member/parent Betsy Stilley, 2026 Faculty Mentor Award Recipient of the Provost’s Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Student Success at the University of Pittsburgh! This award recognizes staff, faculty, and administrators who have positively impacted the student experience by engaging in collaborative and holistic academic advising and student success practices. The University writes that Besty “reinforces students through steady encouragement, honest feedback, and accountability, [... investing] intentional time and empathy, ensuring each student feels valued within a large institution.” And we fully retweet that.

Congrats to MLAC alum Zoe Rebol on this coaching honor!

LET’SS GOOO!! Congrats to Alex Mihalovich for winning 2️⃣ West Virginia STATE TITLES! 🥇🥇

Alex is a junior at and trains during the year with our MLAC Senior group. He swam a 1:51.27 in the 200 and went a 5:06.53 in the 500 at the WV state high school championship this week, both lifetime bests after setting best times at his school’s regional meet earlier in the month.

🇺🇸🇺🇸 Looking forward to our inaugural Presidential Block Party this evening! Tonight, all of our groups are coming together for some quick racing (plus our friends from SHAQ). Let’s goo! 🎆🦅

A great weekend at the Invitational! We saw over 100 of our swimmers in action dropping so much time… thanks to our neighbors for putting on a great meet.
