About Tom:

Tom Murray, a native of New York City, has had a checkered career as business journalist; instructor in English composition, journalism, magazine publishing, public speaking and literature in colleges and universities in Brooklyn, Buffalo, Beijing, Cincinnati, Utica and Rome, N.Y.; and most recently, assistant director at an Upstate public library. In between, he earned a master's in English from U.N.C. at Chapel Hill and a doctorate in Literature from S.U.N.Y. at Buffalo.
