๐ฅณ It's National Peanut Butter Cookie Day! Question: Are you one who would enjoy the day by eating a peanut butter cookie or do you wish all the peanut butter cookies in the world were instantly obliterated from the face of the Earth, never to be seen, smelled or consumed again?

More Than Paperwork. More Than Numbers.
Options, Inc. is facing a crisis that could impact almost 200 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities who rely on our Day and Employment Services.
The Minnesota Department of Human Services (DHS) has terminated our MHCP provider enrollment, claiming that Options failed to respond to revalidation requests. We strongly dispute this determination and have submitted a formal appeal with documentation showing that we responded to every request and submitted all required information well within the required timeframes.
Link to appeal letter:https://www.optionsincmn.org/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Appeal-MHCP-.pdf
We continue to provide services while pursuing our appeal because the people we support deserve stability and continuity. If this decision is not reversed, Options will be unable to continue providing services after July 31, 2026.
This is about more than paperwork. It is about the people we support, their families, residential providers, our dedicated employees, and the communities we serve.
We are committed to fighting for the people who depend on us and will continue to provide updates as this process moves forward.
We ask community members, families, advocates, employers, and elected officials to support efforts to ensure uninterrupted services for the individuals who depend on Options. Please help and contact your state legislators and tell them why Options, Inc. matters to you. Share our story!

Thank you to everyone who has offered support, advocacy, and encouragement during this challenging time.

๐ Sales or Marketing? The Difference Influences Your Print Marketing Choices
What is the difference between sales and marketing? Marketing encompasses the strategies used to attract, engage, and nurture potential customers before they are ready to buy. Sales is converting leads into customers through personalized interactions and closing deals.
In other words, marketing happens before the buyer contacts you. Sales is what happens after.
๐ญ How much of the sales process occurs before a customer ever reaches out to a salesperson? Estimates range from 45% to 80%. This is important to keep in mind when developing content. At the marketing stage, potential customers research, compare options and form opinions about your products or services. Sometimes, they are just becoming aware of them. Especially for high-value items, your job isnโt to convince them to buy at this stage. It brings awareness and creates enough interest to move them to the next step.
๐ Print Tools for Marketing
During the marketing phase, you will use print marketing tools to build interest in your brand and draw the audience to the top of the sales funnel. Products commonly used to do this include:
โ๏ธ Postcards
โ๏ธ Brochures
โ๏ธ Flyers
โ๏ธ Print advertising
Once a potential customer is aware of your product, has been educated on it, and their research is complete, it is time to shift the focus to the sales phase. This is where sales professionals use their expertise to address specific customer needs, overcome objections, and guide buyers toward purchasing. At this stage, the buyerโs and the brandโs relationship becomes more direct and personal.
๐ Print Tools for Sales
Because the buyer has become a qualified lead, you will want to use printed materials of higher quality and value. These might include:
โ๏ธ High-gloss product brochures
โ๏ธ Printed case studies
โ๏ธ Product samples encased in printed kits
โ๏ธ Beautifully embossed presentation folders for proposals and quotes
Understanding the difference between sales and marketing can be extremely helpful when developing your marketing strategy. Using different content and print marketing tools at each stage will help you meet customers where they are and provide what they need at the right time.
