These images are unforgettable. They reveal the devastation of the Palisades Fire and the reality faced by firefighters who stepped into danger to protect others.
Last year, Bryan firefighters deployed to California as part of a Rapid Extraction Module (REM), a specialized rescue team that responds to firefighter emergencies in extreme conditions.
Aluminum melts at 1,220°F. This fire burned at temperatures reaching 2,500-3,000°F. If you swipe through these images, you'll see one photo that shows aluminum from a vehicle melted and flowing onto the street—a powerful reminder of the intense heat crews faced as entire neighborhoods changed within minutes.
We’re grateful our team could answer the call, stand alongside firefighters from across the country, and help when they were needed most. Moments like these remind us that every response requires sacrifice in service to others—a commitment worthy of our deepest gratitude.

Today, members of the Bryan Fire Department, friends and family took on the Murph Challenge in remembrance.
We pushed through every mile, every pull-up, every push-up, and every squat to honor the brave men and women of our military who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.
The Murph Challenge is more than a workout. It’s a reminder of courage, commitment, and the price of freedom. We are proud to stand in honor of our fallen heroes and those who continue to serve.
Never forgotten. 🇺🇸🔥
