Hope. Strength. Freedom.🩵 This past week, we celebrated incredible milestones with our survivors:

-5 months sober, 3 months safe
-22 months sober, 17 months safe
-30 days sober, 3 weeks safe

Every day, they’re choosing healing, and we’re honored to walk alongside them. Your support makes this possible!

Merch with a Meaning! ✨

Friends, when you buy a sweatshirt, hat, or tee, you’re directly supporting survivors of human trafficking with:

• Two years of free housing – A safe and stable place to focus on rebuilding their lives.
• Healthcare and trauma therapy – Critical care and counseling to support emotional and physical healing.
• Meaningful employment – Job opportunities that empower survivors to create a self-sustaining future.

We appreciate the support, y’all!

“Defeating human trafficking is the greatest moral calling of our time.” 🩵

This Human Trafficking Prevention Month, we’re reminded of the urgent need to protect the vulnerable, empower survivors, and work together to end exploitation. Change starts with awareness and action.

At Different Day, we’re honored to offer a program that focuses on healing, housing, and employment—key pillars in rebuilding lives. 🩵

Through trauma therapy and creative outlets, we help survivors heal emotionally. With safe, stable housing, they have a foundation to grow. And through meaningful job opportunities like Stage Left, we empower them to regain confidence and independence.

Words hold power, y’all. Understanding the language around human trafficking helps us see the signs and stand up for those who need it most.

Take a moment to swipe through and learn these terms—it’s knowledge that could make a world of difference. Thank you for helping us keep our community safer. 🫶

Merry Christmas, friends! 🎄

As we celebrate this joyous season, we reflect on the incredible progress made in 2024. This year alone, we served 12 survivors, including 10 in residential care. Together, we achieved:

• 100 therapy hours
• 32 equine therapy hours
• 88 group hours (life skills, journaling, expressive arts)
• 1 family reunification
• 59 months of cumulative sobriety
• 1 employment promotion
• 1 driver’s license reinstated

These milestones represent resilience, growth, and hope. Thank you for supporting us as we continue to walk alongside survivors on their healing journeys. Here’s to expanding our impact in the year ahead!

Human trafficking is often misunderstood. Many people believe that it starts with kidnapping or random victims. While abductions do occur, many cases begin through manipulation in trusted relationships—a process known as grooming. It’s important to share this knowledge and understand how these situations truly unfold.

At Different Day, our mission is to fill the gaps in the community by offering a program where survivors can heal. We are committed to supporting them with safe housing, therapy, and essential resources for recovery.
