Now that the Echorecs are gone I can work on the fun projects I had stashed away. Got this beauty a while back and now it’s restored and calibrated. Or at least real close. VTVMs are great in that they don’t load the circuit much when you are making measurements. Helps to find those leaky caps in circuit. Mind that it doesn’t auto range…..

Thank you ! I was having issues with my SE Hollowbody Piezo. They took it in and found a defect and sent me this replacement! What a beauty and it plays and sounds amazing. Outstanding customer service!

I just wish I could play as good as it looks!

A Cleveland Tweed ready to ship. The client wanted a head/cab combination. 5881 power tubes and a power throttle. Single 15” speaker. Normal and bright channel that can be strapped.

I haven’t posted on this page in a long time. Here’s the latest thing off the bench. A Korg SE 300 stage echo. Took a while to find a problem but I will not be denied.

Establish a color code and stick with it. Helps to eliminate errors and lets me know I had been here before. I’m guessing I am over 30 machines at this point. I wish I would have tracked serial and model numbers. Some I wish I could do over. Just hope folks are satisfied with the work.

Today’s project. Odd oscillation on top of the bias signal causing distorted and weak echoes. Looking forward as this will be a new and learning experience to put in the memory bank. Plus, she’s in beautiful shape.

Methinks these wipers have wiped their last. Yecch. Lotsa goo on this memory plate or whatever you choose to call it. Some say patina. A good bit of time to be spent cleaning. Some VOCs to the rescue.
