Do you remember Richard? When Richard arrived at a high-risk shelter in the South, he was in heartbreaking condition. Completely blind, his eyes were covered in painful buildup from years of neglect. His coat was severely matted, and his mouth was so badly decayed that he was living in constant pain.

Because of your support, we were able to provide all the medical care, surgeries, dental treatment, and TLC he desperately needed.

What happens when a dog who had every reason to give up finally finds people who refuse to give up on her? Meet Cookie Dough’s happy ending! When Cookie Dough was found on the streets, she was almost unrecognizable. Years of neglect had left her suffering from severe pyoderma, her skin raw, painful, and oozing, while brachycephalic issues made every day even more uncomfortable. She was rushed to our emergency vet, and it was clear this little girl had a long road ahead of her. Thankfully, an incredible foster stepped up and stood by her through countless vet visits, treatments, medications, and months of healing.

And then came the ending we had all been hoping for…the foster family fell completely in love. As previous AMA adopters, they knew exactly what it meant to open their hearts to a pet in need, and they made Cookie Dough a permanent member of their family. Today, she spends her days surrounded by love instead of pain, comfort instead of suffering, and people who will do absolutely anything for her. She may still have lifelong medical needs, but she’s finally where she belongs: home. IRIS’S CANCER UPDATE!

We have wonderful news to share! Not only has Iris healed beautifully after her surgery, but we also received her biopsy results and they were the best news we could have hoped for. The pathology confirmed that her mast cell tumor was a lower-grade tumor, and all of the margins were successfully removed during surgery.

Considering her cancer diagnosis, these are truly the best possible results, and we couldn’t be happier or more relieved. We are so grateful to be celebrating this incredible outcome and looking forward to many healthy, happy years ahead for Iris!

RUBY WAS ABANDONED AT A K!LL SHELTER WITH PNEUMONIA 💔

Remember sweet Ruby, the dog we recently rescued from a ki!! shelter who was battling pneumonia? We’re so happy to share that he has pulled through and is feeling so much better!

There was a moment when we were truly scared and worried, but thanks to your incredible support, we were able to get him the emergency medical care he needed right away. Thankfully, Ruby responded well to treatment and has made an amazing turnaround.
