Happy opening to Carolina Đỗ and the entire team of Extra01dinary Aliens. We are so excited to celebrate this moment with you.
Here at JACK, we love creating new traditions. One of our favorites is asking the lead artists of each production to sign our JACK boombox. It is our way of making sure a piece of them stays in the space. Because the truth is, the artists and the work they make are what shape JACK.
Every show leaves its mark. Every artist becomes part of the room.
Congratulations to Carolina and the whole Extra01dinary Aliens team on your opening. We are so proud.

We are proud to welcome Brandon JonesMooney as a 2026 JACKlabs Resident Artist.
What we love most about Brandon is that he is not afraid to tell the truth and be vulnerable. This is who he is. Honest. Open. Raw. He meets the world and the work with his whole heart, and it is powerful to witness.
During his residency at JACK, Brandon will be developing An Exercise in Vulnerability, a new piece about a Black man from Oakland searching for joy and purpose while navigating the realities that shaped him.
We are proud to hold space for the birth of this work and deeply excited that Brandon is building it here with us at JACK.
Welcome,

A space for connection beyond tradition. A space to simply be.

Our next production is coming to JACK this March.
Extra01dinary Aliens! by directed by is a story about immigration, and it is needed right now. At a time when immigration is being debated, distorted, and weaponized, this play brings us back to the people at the center of it all.

We regret to share that we have to cancel tomorrow’s Sunday 7:30pm performance of BODYCOUNT due to the winter storm expected in the area.
The good news: we’re extending the run by one night, adding a Tuesday performance, so the show will now close on Tuesday instead of Monday. If you haven’t had a chance to see it yet, please grab a ticket and come through.
If you already have tickets for Sunday, please email [email protected] and let us know how you’d like to move forward:
1. Transfer your ticket to Tuesday
2. Donate your ticket to JACK (this cancellation is a big hit for the artists and the theater)
3. Request a refund
Thank you for understanding, and thank you for supporting these artists and this story.
