Brooklyn Cinderella Project was created on April 7, 2011 by Gwendolyn Robinson. It was designed to encourage corporate sponsors, individual donors and stylish women of all ages to donate their gently worn/new gowns, special occasion dresses, shoes, jewelry, bags and accessories to those who cannot afford the costly experience of going to their prom, sweet 16, quinceanera or formal affairs.
