Another fantastic Boston weekend in the books!! Getting the itch to run it too 🤔💙💛

Yesterday was a blast! First leg 4:49, second leg forgot to start my watch, and so much fun in between cheering on friends from across the running industry. The Marathon Relay is the BEST way to kick off Boston Marathon weekend!!

Excited to be going back to the New Balance Marathon Relay this year!! Last year, my goal was to run a sub-5 minute mile leg to keep a 23 year sub-5 streak going and ended up running 4:49. This year, I decided to up the ante on myself, and since I turned 40 in March, my goal is sub 4:40 at 40. I’ve been training since January with this single objective, and it took until my workout today to feel like it might actually be in me. Still, I’m hoping a crazy fast track and fun environment add the little extra magic needed to bring it all together. 10 days to go!!!

New York Marathon 2025: 25 athletes 2:50➡️5:30 and lots of good times with friends in between!
Going home exhausted and wishing we could rewind and do it all again.

First week back on the trails after the Chicago marathon, and it feels amazing!
This week had:
🏃🏼‍♀️ 20 miles of running
🐾20 miles of hiking
🎾11 hours of tennis
Honestly this might be the most fun I’ve ever had with recovery!!

What an amazing weekend at the beach! I had the best time running with Brett at the Surf City 10 miler before we do it again for the Chicago Marathon. Plus Scout got to play endless ball in the ocean, and her joy was the best thing ever

Next up, the Akron Half Marathon in just under two weeks! Can’t wait to race!!
