The City of Berwyn is making the move toward safety, and Do Right Rooter Drain Specialists is on the front lines. We just tackled a two-part infrastructure project to bring a local property up to code and restore parking lot safety.
Part 1: The Water Service Upgrade (Health & Safety)
The city required a full lead service line replacement. We didn't just dig—we worked smart.
The Solution: Directional boring from the B-Box to the interior meter (located in the bathroom).
The Upgrade: Removed the old lead and installed 1-inch K-Copper line to meet strict city code requirements.
The Finish: Concrete slab removal, 3/4" stone backfill, and a fresh concrete resurface. No debris left behind.
Part 2: Collapsed Manhole & Parking Lot Drain Repair
A collapsed drain in a parking lot is a liability waiting to happen. We provided a permanent fix.
The Discovery: A collapsed manhole in the parking lot.
The Fix: Rebuilt the structure with new interlocking blocks and an adjustable ring for long-term stability.
The Hard Proof: We didn't just patch it; we Hydro-jetted and Televised (CCTV) all lines to inspect the integrity of the entire system before sealing it up.
