Good morning ladies and gentlemen. I hope you have had a chance to look at the first posted video. We provided simple instructions on how to keep your computer up to date with the latest Microsoft Security updates as well as how to identify where your disk space is being consumed the most using Windows File Explorer as well as a 3rd party utility Treesize Pro. The video describes how you can use Windows update to check the Microsoft Security site for the latest security and patch releases as well as how to tell what are the biggest files and folders on your disk and where they are located. The tools for the exercise were Windows File Explorer and a 3rd party utility we downloaded as a "free trial version for 30 days" Treesize Pro.

Here's a very important tip. Every 2nd Tuesday of the month Microsoft releases the latest patches and security updates. By default your computer is set to download these patches and install during off hours. I believe the default time is 3:00AM Eastern Standard Time. If left alone this will assist in managing your security updates to help reduce the amount of threat your computer is exposed. It's not 100% but its a step in the right direction. Here's a link on a vulnerability that currently exists. This month's patches help mitigate this risk.
