Brenham Army Recruiting Station

In alignment with Department of Defense (DoD) Instruction 5400.17 and recent Executive Orders issued by the President, the U.S. Army has reviewed and adjusted its social media content to ensure compliance with DoD policies and priorities. Tonight the Brenham Army Recruiting Station would like to Congratulate our Senior Future Soldier from Weimar HS on graduating. She will be leaving for Basic Training on May 30th to be a 68K Laboratory Specialist. Congratulations Erika Avalos, we are proud of you and know you will go on to do amazing things.

This past week the Brenham Army Recruiting Station had the opportunity to present our Senior Future Soldiers, from Lagrange HS and Brenham HS, with checks for Education Money they will receive during their time in the Army. The totals ranges from $72,820 to $132,230 (amount depended on the length of their contracts). We are so proud of you all for not only graduating High School but committing to something for the next 2-6 years, ensuring bright futures for you all.

It is with a sad heart that we have to say good bye to SSG Thompson. He has been a staple of the Brenham Recruiting Station for the last 3 years. We know he will go on to California and do amazing things. Please help me in wishing him the best of luck in his new adventure. Ssg Robert Thompson
