Progress looks good from up here!

Dreaming of a home that's truly yours? Here are just a few reasons why building a custom home can make your dreams a reality!

It’s officially fall, y’all! 🍂
In Texas that means it's time to dream about (and finally use) those cozy outdoor living spaces.
Good food, good company, and the game on tv... Who’s coming over?!

Happy Labor Day from the Chelsea Build family!

Today we honor the people who actually build the houses- framers, masons, electricians, plumbers and every trade partner who shows up with skill and takes pride in their work. 🔨

Grateful for our crew, our clients, and this community.
Rest up and eat some barbecue today!
We’ll see you back on the jobsite tomorrow.

Work in Progress Wednesday 🔨
Watching this farmhouse come together!

I have been running to a lot of design meetings this week and wanted to point out something I keep seeing in tile.

We are moving toward a more timeless, warm color palette and the floors are following.

In most cases high contrast black and white is moving out to make way for warm color and texture that feel closer to natural stone. Cream and dusty blue. Sand and slate. Ivory with a little terracotta. Pattern is still in, but the temperature has changed. It feels collected instead of graphic.
This star floor is exactly that shift.
As always with design, our process is client led…
So would you put a tile like this in your powder bathroom, mud room, or pantry?

At Chelsea Build, we install high performance insulation batts on shared interior walls as a standard sound mitigation detail, not just an upgrade.
This simple step dramatically reduces noise transfer between rooms, giving you better privacy in bedrooms, home offices, media rooms, and kids’ spaces.
It’s one of those invisible details that makes a house feel calm and well built instead of just finished.
