This Memorial Day, we honor the brave men and women who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country.

My dog Bodie loves to eat healthy. He especially loves apples. To date he has eaten one Apple ear bud and two Apple pencils. I’m not sure how eating an apple a day keeps the doctor away works for him.

We have a local program in our community called SNAP. It stands for Special Needs Activity Program. Every year they do an amazing production. This year’s theme was “Hold Your Light Up”. It is one of my favorite things to visit each year. As always, they did a fantastic job

A big shout out to Matt Howard and his school class. They got into the Guinness Book of World Records for the longest chain of building blocks. They had 90 minutes and rocked it. How many of us can say we hold a Guinness World record?

This is my amazing nephew Sam Johnson. He just finished an 18-month church mission in Family History and had his homecoming talk recently. He has the best memory of anyone I know. He can go back 3 generations and tell you the birthdates, death dates and connections to all my ancestors.

I want to give a shout out again to Dori Phillips. She received our NAIFA Utah Lifetime Achievement award for NAIFA-UT. I can’t think of a more deserving person. Way to go Dori!

We had a great 2023 – 2024 ski season this year. Most of the resorts have closed, but a few are still going strong, so I guess this is not really closing day. Skiing is the best way to keep your family close!

NAIFA Utah rocked it again this year with their annual symposium. We had great speakers and great food. Wonderful combination. Also got 4 hours of CE for my license.

Protecting our loved ones’ future is a priority. Today, let’s celebrate National Life Insurance Day by taking steps to ensure a secure future for those we care about.

This is the east side of our office building. We built this office in 2002 and that is when the landscaping went in. 20 years later and these bushes have grown to where it is time to pull them out. Life is the same way. We need to always be changing and growing. What worked great yesterday is not always the best fit for the future.
