What should you know about Earthquake coverage on your homeowners policy.

1. Earthquake coverage is not included and must be added as an endorsement.
2. There is a 30 day Moratorium from the day you request to have this coverage added to your policy before coverage is in effect.
3. There is a 10% deducible of your Coverage A limit. Example, a home covered for $350,000 has a $35,000 deductible for earthquake.
4. All Earthquake policies EXCLUDE brick and masonry.
