Greenhouse Community
https://linktr.ee/GreenhouseCommunity Sustainable, generational change in under-resourced communities has proven difficult to achieve.
Greenhouse identifies the most inspiring young leaders from under-resourced communities, surrounds them with a powerful community, and works together for life to fuel transformational change from within. Greenhouse is changing that paradigm by working from within – partnering with the most
inspiring young leaders and surrounding them with a powerful, lifelong community. Together,
we’re launching and scaling bold initiatives that are transforming communities across our
country and the world.
Greenhouse helps our Scholars and Alums do big things in science, the arts, medicine, movies, and more. We have started over 200 for-profit and non-profit businesses and community change initiatives directly affecting 4,000 communities such as K-12 schools, large social groups, and geographic communities. And we have big plans for the future! What impact do you want to have on your community?
Greenhouse is proud to be an official Ecosystem Partner of the Boulder Roots Music Fest presented by Caruso Ventures. The festival blends live music, food, drink, and art creating a space to slow down, gather, explore, and reconnect.
As part of the Caruso Foundation's Incentive Grant Program, organizations like ours that share a mission of supporting Boulder's arts and music community are eligible for grants based on community engagement with the festival.

Let's make this summer one to remember.

“This semester reminded me how deeply connected my interests in chemistry, literature, service, healthcare equity, law, and community impact truly are. I am especially grateful to Greenhouse for continuing to invest in my growth not only as a student, but as a leader and community member.”
Greenhouse Scholar Daisy Pace had a busy spring semester! With flex funding from Greenhouse, she traveled to Thailand to engage in international service and community-based work. She also completed a semester-long organic chemistry synthesis project, while staying very involved in the Greenhouse community. She served on not one, but two New Scholar Selection interview panels to help pick the next generation of Scholars. She spoke at our Greenhouse Raleigh event alongside her mentor. And she continues great work on the Scholar-led community impact project focused on mental wellness, resource access, and sustained service.
Daisy is an inspiring young leader growing as a student, leader, and community member! We are so excited to be a part of her journey and to see what path she forges next.

Making the Big Tent Bigger kicks off this week! This project will provide high school students from low-income communities with information about every possible path after graduation—and direct connections to those opportunities.
By combining a scalable tech solution with long-term partnerships in under-resourced high schools, we will help students make informed choices about their futures while strengthening their motivation to graduate. This is just one example of our Whole Community Program mobilizing our Alumni over 30 years old alongside our powerful community to scale impact and community change.

Earlier this week, Greenhouse celebrated our Founders Day with an annual hike in Boulder, a culture activity celebrating staff who embody our culture model, and recognition of our most valuable teammate by bestowing the yearly Boone award to Whole Community Program Director Monica Beckford Curry.
In the last year, she elevated the New Scholar Selection process to its most efficient standard yet and helped launch one of the organization’s most important endeavors for the Whole Community Program. She built meaningful relationships across our entire community — with our Scholars, Alumni, Volunteers, Donors, and staff alike. People trust Monica. People rely on Monica. And people genuinely feel cared for by Monica.
She is a wonderful teammate, and we are so lucky to have her on staff!

Family is forever. So is Greenhouse.
Our three-phase program is designed to grow with young leaders as they do, supporting them throughout every stage of their personal and professional journeys:
Phase one: Whole Person College Program
Transformation starts here. Scholars receive mentorship, professional networking, internships, scholarships, and the tools to create real community impact, building the foundation for everything that comes next.
Phase two: Young Leaders Program
Once they graduate, Alumni step into coaching, idea creation and ex*****on, career connectivity, and impact projects, growing from scholars into leaders.
Phase three: Whole Community Program
In phase three, leadership evolves into legacy. Members mobilize communities, launch for-profit and non-profit initiatives, and help shape the next generation of Greenhouse Scholars.
These photos capture something no résumé can: the visible, transformative growth of people who have been surrounded by resources they deserve.

Event season continues! We’re keeping the momentum going with our first-ever California fundraiser on May 16.
Join us for an evening of elevated decadence, including electric violinists who've shared stages with Rihanna, Stevie Wonder and Miranda Lambert, delicious food stations serving ahi tuna tartare, duck confit tacos, imported cheeses, and more.
You'll hear more about Greenhouse's impact during a panel with our Scholars and Alumni moderated by CEO and Founder Pete Burridge.
Registration closes Tuesday night! Get your complimentary ticket before they run out!
Last Friday, Glass Half Full Colorado was more than just a celebration – it was an investment in thousands of futures.
The funds raised by the will bolster all three of our programs: the Whole Community Program for Alumni in their 30s and beyond, our Young Leaders Program for Alumni in their twenties, and the Whole Person College Program for our undergraduate Scholars. We’re proud to ensure that Greenhouse Scholars and our Alumni are supported not just as undergraduates, but throughout every phase of their lives.
We’re so grateful for our sponsors, The Caruso Foundation, Curi Capital, Deloitte, CHFA, and ANB Bank who helped make this night possible.
