đ„ Sometimes the best photos are the ones that capture the excitement! Welcome our newest Brown Belt, , to the next chapter of his Judo journey. Through consistent training, countless hours on the mat, and a commitment to testing himself in competition, Mike has truly earned this promotion. Weâre proud of all heâs accomplished so farâand even more excited to see where the journey takes him next. Congratulations, Mike! đ
Great first night of our new Ne Waza / BJJ for Judo class with Sensei Mike leading the mat! đ„ We worked through strong fundamentals and transitions from common Judo groundwork positions, and this is just the beginning. Sensei Mike has a structured six-week system planned out, so consistency will be key if you want to get the most out of the program. Every Tuesday evening at 6pm
The Judo action never stops at Front Range Judo! đ„ Our Mini Judoka (ages 4â6) and Junior classes (ages 7â13) will be training all summer long, building coordination, quick reactions, confidence, and body control while having a blast on the mat. If youâre staying in town this summer, thereâs no better activity than Judo training.

What dedication and consistency can accomplish đ„ This past weekend at Nationals in Albuquerque, Front Range Judoâs own competed in three divisions and fought through 14 matches, earning a bronze, a silver, and a gold medal in the brown belt divisionâbecoming a National Champion in his weight class.
As a green belt in his 30s, Mike continues to show what passion, hard work, and courage look like on the mat. As a small club with mostly recreational athletes, we couldnât be more proud to support someone pushing themselves to compete at such a high level.
At Front Range Judo, we believe the fundamentals matterâboth on and off the mat. đ„ Sensei working with our juniors on the basics of O Goshi while helping build confidence, discipline, coordination, and resilience at a young age.
