Founded in 1966, Boulder Housing Partners (BHP) is the housing authority for the City of Boulder. We build, own and manage affordable housing for low and moderate income residents and we are committed to fostering a healthy sense of community in every property we develop.

Our young residents at Ta**ra Lake Apartments are having an amazing time at Camp WAWA 2026, a sports and cultural arts summer program made possible through the partnership between BHP and Kick2Build.
A huge thank you to Kick2Build for being such an incredible community partner and for bringing opportunities, creativity, and joy to children and families across Boulder.

What a fantastic evening at Hawthorn Court’s Children’s Day Celebration! Families came together to enjoy face painting, delicious food, live entertainment, and plenty of fun and laughter.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped make this event so special. Events like these are a wonderful way to build connections, create memories, and celebrate our community.

Today we celebrate Karen Brunnemer and an incredible 23 year journey with BHP.
Karen’s impact on BHP reaches far beyond projects and milestones. Through her leadership, compassion, and dedication to our mission, she helped shape our organization and touched the lives of colleagues, residents, and community members along the way.
As Karen begins a new chapter closer to family and back to her roots, we want to thank her for the care, kindness, and commitment she brought to BHP every day. Her message to continue caring for one another and remember that everyone is doing their best is one that reflects the values she brought to our organization.
