MEET JUSTIN: Englewood Ready to Work's First Graduate
After a failed su***de attempt, addiction, and homelessness, Justin B. arrived at Englewood’s Ready to Work program with nowhere else to turn. Nearly a year later, he became the program’s first graduate and is now training to become an RTD Light Rail driver.
Along the way, Justin overcame relapse, rebuilt stability, moved into his own apartment, and even began preparing his poetry manuscript for publication. “Some days I hated Ready to Work,” he admits. “But in the long run, it’s crazy how much it helped me.”

Happy National Donut Day! 🍩 Donuts and brownies actually have a lot in common:
🍩 They're both acceptable breakfast decisions (we don't make the rules)
☕ They're both best enjoyed with coffee
💻 They're both crowd-pleasers at meetings
😊 They're both capable of improving a tough day
We're just partial to the one with chocolate, a little chew, and a mission to create pathways out of homelessness.
Happy National Donut Day from your friends at Bridge House Brownies . 🟫❤️
