There's a really simple way to double the output of your Gobo. When you "bridge" the two channels such that one "pushes" while the other "pulls" you double the power. Of course, you are giving up a channel to do this, so you end up with a mono amp instead of stereo. Could be good for an instrument amp. Just use a SoloG as a preamp.

This is my rig. I use an older decommissioned iPhone in a dock to get some remote control. That goes into a Bottlehead Quickie tube preamp, which has two switchable inputs. I use the other for my Rega turntable that goes into a phono stage I built myself. That's the kit I'm currently working on. Then the Gobo drives a pair of Tritrix MTM transmission line speakers. I'm still working on a powered subwoofer to round out the whole thing.

We had a great turn out for the Denver Mini Maker Faire last weekend! The "Electrify Anything" demo was so popular that we sold out of the kits used to make a musical instrument out of just about anything by adding a simple pickup and playing through one of our amps! The best part was watching the Faire goers faces light up when they heard the awesome sound coming from the Boxed Kit Amps!

We had these custom guitar picks made up to give away at the Denver Maker Faire. If we don't get rid of them all, we'll probably start putting them in the kits.

Another prototype! The SoloB is a modified version of the SoloG Pocket Guitar Amp Kit. It's made specifically for bass guitars. Same smooth JFET sweetness with just enough overdrive effect if you push it. It's also got an exceptionally clean sound with a regular electric guitar--something unusual for "smokey" amps.

This is a super-cool idea from a maker in Tallahassee, Florida. He had built a custom wooden case for his computer and wanted a stereo to match. We sold him a broken case at a discount and he used just the bottom and back to fit everything into a similar wooden case.
