I was a skeptic too at first, having a strong background in Western medicine and at the time of my discovery of acupuncture, I was in graduate school for Chemistry. So, like most of my patients. I needed to know HOW it worked before I could believe it. As some of you know, I had a digestive health condition that and misdiagnosis by gastroenterologists that lead me to “try acupuncture”, kind of as a last resort.
It was the best decision I ever made.
After suffering for years, I had IMMEDIATE relief during my first acupuncture session. Did not know HOW it worked then but I was a 100% believer. So much that I changed careers and life paths and went back to school to study the medicine.
