Although RECON Dynamics isn't included in this list, Sarah from Pype wrote too valuable of an article about not to share...
"The most important elements of any construction project are time, cost and quality. Often, one of those three will get deprioritized or outright dismissed by way of stakeholder priorities. If a project needs to be done quickly and with high quality, it won’t be cheap; if it needs to be done on a limited budget and finish fast, its quality will suffer. Lean construction is an approach that aims to optimize these necessary trade-offs while reducing the time, effort, materials and money that are necessary for projects. In simpler terms, lean construction aims to maximize customer value while minimizing resource waste."

Video demonstration of the online (desktop/mobile) dashboard for the RECON Automatic Tool Tracking system. View information like; where are my tools? where are my trailers? how often have my tools and equipment been used in the last month? how often in the last year?
Use the information to stop wasting time looking for tools and/or driving back to the shop because someone forgot something. Also, use the utilization information to make decisons about where to spend money and if you should be selling off tools and equipment because they're just taking up space and costing you money.
The system is based on Zigbee protocal, which means small sensors, long range (300 ft+), long battery life (5 years +), and secure wireless communications. If you're currently looking at or frustrated with RFID or Bluetooth systems - RECON can be a good alternative solution for you to look in to. We've helped others overcome the obstacles that RFID and Bluetooth systems present. Check out www.recondyamics.com today.
