This week is so rough.

This feels like ages ago but I painted this for Inktober back in 2019. I've grown so much as an artist since then and maybe I should paint this again, but for now, here's Tim Curry as Darkness from the movie Legend.

Some fun with words this morning!

We finally moved into our new house last week. I'm living in a sea of boxes, but writing is happening in the background as I can. I'm hoping to be back to a regular schedule and posting in here come August. 🙂 For now, I wanted to post about this.

With the amount of anti-trans legislation out there and the rise in fascism, I don't feel I have anything to celebrate today.
So today I'm choosing to "out create" as Tori Amos says and use my gifts to fight fascism in Not a Pipe Publishing's Anti-Fascism Write-a-Thon. Feel free to join in. Link in the comments.

I finished writing a book yesterday where I modeled a black cat in it after DiNozzo. The idea (for the book) came to me the night he died, like a gift from him.

I woke up today and one of my keys on my manual keyboard is missing. It wasn’t when I went to sleep. No one else has used it. The key is nowhere to be found. I think DiNozzo stole it and is playing with it over the rainbow bridge. 💙

Wrote 3,1,18 words today in about 3 hours.

Stopping because I need to go look at houses since the house sale closes next week! Then we get to go house shopping so it's time to see what's up on Redfin.

Totally on track to finish this book on time!
