A geeky, disabled, LGBTQ+ author & artist of fantasy/sci-fi seeks other like minded readers to geek out about literature, gaming, and other forms of geekdom.
If you’re attending the online Flights of Foundry con this weekend, I’ve got a chat & chill plus a few panels. 🙂
One today on gender and one on Sunday about maps & cartography. If I get the spoons, I’ll post a schedule but otherwise, you’ll have to check their website for programming.
Important Post Alert!
While I realize that Amaskan’s Honor just came out, and I should be doing more to celebrate it, my energy and time right now is divided and rightfully so as Molli’s health is not in a good place. Her long COVID is debilitating to the point that she spends the bulk of her days in bed, unable to do much of anything at all. Even conversations are exhausting as everything overstimulates her overwhelmed immune system.
I’m going to be on hiatus a bit from this group for a bit as Molli needs my focus to be on her and on trying to get her the healthcare she needs. This doesn’t mean I’m going to stop writing, but it does mean that everything is going to slow down a LOT.
We’re also trying to move into a smaller place that is one level so that it is more ADA friendly for her and her needs, which is also hell to do when you’re both disabled and one, seriously so. (Know anyone Eastside Seattle who’d like a nice, big house? We’ve got one.)
I’m hoping that some of the medical procedures we’re looking at will help, as will having a smaller place. Once things calm down, I’m hoping to get back to regular posts and such, but for now, I need to focus where I should–on Molli.
Mask up. You don’t want COVID. Seriously.
See you all on the flip-side.

Happy Release Day aka Happy Book Birthday to me! Amaskan's Honor is officially out in the world and the epic trilogy is done! I can't express how hard it was to finish this trilogy and not just because of health complication brought on by both Big C's. Saying goodbye to your characters is *hard* but I love this book. I truly hope you all love it as well....

Doing these posts was an EXPERIMENT and a fun one! I plan to keep doing them because I love words. I love the history of words and how languages form. Even if no one else geeks out over these, I will persevere. Oooo, I should do that word too...
Enjoy my experiment. ;)
