First Year and Pre-Major Programs (FYPP) is the home of our first and second year (or pre-major) students at UW Bothell.

We are the first place to turn for all of your academic needs, from scheduling classes and meeting faculty, to discussing your future career goals. We assist with all of your academic advising needs, host student success workshops, direct you to academic and student campus resources, and strive to give you a friendly space to land as you begin your college experience and move toward your future major. We are a friendly group and are eager to help you find your way.

Gender, Women & Sexuality Studies (GWSS) seeks nominations for our their annual Leslie Ashbaugh Feminist Praxis in Education (LAFPIE) Award!

The Leslie Ashbaugh Feminist Praxis in Education award is designed as a loving and grateful tribute to the work of Dr. Leslie Ashbaugh, who was a champion of feminist praxis in education. Leslie also had a great sense of humor, and loved to bake pies (hence: LAF-PIE).

The Summer Health Profession Education Program (SHPEP), is a free 6 week summer enrichment program focused on improving access to information and resources for college students interested in the health professions. SHPEP’s goal is to strengthen the academic proficiency and career development of students underrepresented in the health professions and prepare them for a successful application and matriculation to health professions schools.

Wednesday, March 1, 5-7 pm, Campus Events Board is bringing Luis Cortes, an immigration lawyer to speak on DACA and immigration policies in the U.S and more specifically what will happen if DACA is removed due to new presidential administration. This event will be held on the second floor of the ARC — thank you to UWB student, Micaela Coronel, for coordinating this event!
