Invisible bead extensions are a fantastic way to add length and volume to your hair. However, it’s essential to take care of them to ensure they last as long as possible.

You should avoid using products containing strengthening, repairing or protein. These can cause buildup and, ultimately, lead to damage. Instead, opt for haircare products that are hydrating. I suggest Goldilocks every time! It’s lightweight and hydrating, also fantastic choice for natural hair and it smells like a dream ✨

It’s also important to brush your invisible bead extensions regularly to prevent tangling and matting. I always include a mini brush with new installs to keep in car or bag. I personally keep mine in the car and use it at red lights 😆 Start at the ends, working your way up to the roots gently. Making sure to hold the weft line to avoid snags and unnecessary pulling.

Lastly, make sure to schedule regular maintenance appointments with me! I suggest 8 weeks.

Before investing in a luxury extension service I think it's important to note that no extension artist is perfect, and this is not a perfect service.
Of course I strive to make them look/feel as natural as possible, but at the end of the day it's still a foreign object in the hair.
So many small things can dramatically affect your wear.
Placement, technique, color, cut, amount of hair, there is almost always something to tweak and improve each time you come in.
Your willingness to GROW with your stylist will give you the results that you're after-that nearly "perfect" and comfortable result that meshes with your lifestyle and routine.
Invest in a stylist that is committed to growth and acknowledges room for improvement.

These are some common hair mistakes that you'll want to avoid if you want to keep your hair healthy and color from fading.. I know I’m guilty of every one of these 🤷🏼‍♀️ who else needed a little reminder?

✨Do not wash your hair every day! Not only will it strip your hair color faster, but it will also strip your hair's natural oils and moisture.

✨Turn that water temp down! I most of us love a hot shower, but you gotta turn it down when you rinse your hair. And if you can handle it try a cold rinse after the conditioner to really lock in that moisture and shine.

✨Forgetting to scrub your scalp! Either with a scrub brush or an exfoliating scrub. it’s so important to really clean that scalp it also helps stimulate hair growth

✨Always use a heat protectant my current favorites are #9 magic myst or leave in

✨Not using a silk pillowcase. Silk is a natural fiber that is smooth and soft which is also great for your skin. It’s also hypoallergenic and resistant to mold, dust mites and anti fungal.

✨Over using dry shampoo. It’s true, there is actually too much of a good thing! If you have been using dry shampoo for several days in a row. Remember to oil your ends and to reapply thermal protectant before touching up with hot tools
