Five years ago today my studio officially became an LLC. Huge thanks to all my students, past and present, for making LiveWire Guitar Studio a huge success! So glad I quit my “real job” and dove into this venture.

Yes, that’s a bird on Chloe’s guitar neck. He joins us every week for her lesson; we’re trying to determine which chirping sounds indicate song approval and which chirps indicate otherwise🤷‍♂️

Happy Veteran’s Day! And today is officially the fourth anniversary of LiveWire Guitar Studio’s LLC certification. Huge thanks to all my students, past and present, for making my teaching studio so amazingly successful!

Meet Arnav, LiveWire's feature student! Arnav has been with me just a few months and is advancing quickly. For example, I taught him power chords a couple weeks ago and he's already flying around the fretboard with them. Clearly Arnav is very disciplined in his practice time and he's going to continue to progress at a rapid pace. He comes every week very eager to learn and asks great questions. I'm super happy he chose me as his teacher and I look forward to helping him grow in the future!

Meet Alex, LiveWire’s feature student! Alex has been with me a couple years now and is really maturing as a musician. He’s made huge leaps in rhythm playing as well as following the tempo and timing in songs; I’ve notice great progress in recent months! He suggests songs he wants to learn so his practice time is full of songs he enjoys. Alex practices regularly and is super fun to work with; it’s been awesome to see how much he’s grown!

Meet Hayden, LiveWire's featured student! Hayden began by teaching himself and came to me for lessons a couple months ago. My initial focus was on proper technique and I'm impressed with how quickly Hayden mastered the basics. Now our lesson time is split between music theory topics and learning songs. Hayden is a classic rocker (good parenting right there!) so we're working awesome classics like Pink Floyd's Money which he's doing great on! He's very enthusiastic and focused; this young man is going to be an awesome bass player in the not to distant future!

Meet Arush, LiveWire’s featured student! This young man is advancing at a rapid pace. He practices a lot; I can tell because he masters everything I give him very quickly. Arush’s progress is very impressive and I’m sure he’ll continue to excel because his parents just rewarded him with this sweet new Fender guitar! It’s always a blast working with Arush every week!
