Happy 16th birthday to my daughter, my best friend and the love of my life. I barely remember my life before you and I pray I never have to experience life without you. It seems like it was yesterday, that I was just a scared little kid bringing you home. I was trying to figure out how I was going to raise you. I didn’t know what I was doing, I just knew I loved you and I had to try. Thank you for teaching me about patience, kindness, grace and understanding. Thank you for showing me an earthly love that only God himself could surpass. You truly are my everything. I hope u never forget how truly special you are. I love you more today than I did yesterday, but not as much as I’ll love you tomorrow.

Happy Easter. Jesus is risen

I’m not really sure how to put into words the magic that was last night. The only accurate description is to simply say, beautiful. There are far too many people to thank for last night. I truly wouldn’t have been able to do this alone. Many people want to give me the credit, but I need to give credit where it’s due. I have a village behind me that allows me to live out my dreams every single year. They let me do what I do best and they let me do it my way. It’s rare to have those kind of people around u, I’m just lucky to be blessed by so many. Yesterday was the biggest turn out. 1000 people at the event. It was chaotic, but beautiful. Worth all it took to make it happen. Our honored guests left happy. All the volunteers left on cloud 9. It was perfect.

Being her mom is my greatest joy.

I will not be open at the stand all at tomorrow as I have to be there for him. He is family and he come first. I know u all understand that. It’s not only a duty but an honor to do this for him. To say she is the love of my life is an understatement. I need her to breathe, to live, to be happy, to find joy. I cannot live life without her. I need her much more than she needs me. I am completely and utterly obsessed with her. I will love her for this life time and the next. I can never be without her.
