If you are in the Northshore School District and oppose cops in schools, please consider showing up at the 8/22 school board meeting and/or emailing your thoughts.
SROs (school resource officer) do not make schools safer, but do make students feel uneasy, particularly BIPOC ones, and arrest kids for non-crimes.

Washington OKs 1st statewide missing Indigenous people alert TULALIP, Wash. (AP) — Washington Gov. Jay Inslee on Thursday signed into law a bill that creates a first-in-the-nation statewide alert system for missing Indigenous people, to help address a silent crisis that has plagued Indian Country in this state and nationwide.
