If you’ve been in the store for any length of time, I would have talked your head off about the need for community gardens. Well, the best place to start is where you stand. Or, just outside of where I stand. So here is the very beginning of Little Roots Community Garden!

What’s planted and why:
Lettuce mix
Spinach
Lemon thyme
Sage
Oregano
Lemon balm
Apple mint

And why those things? It’s what the nursery had. I also have strawberries, sugar snap peas, rosemary and lavender ready to go in but I need to get more planters so that’ll be a weekend thing.
