Welcome to a great new year with the ILHS Library! Today is Mrs. Briley's first official day back this year (here only Mondays)...can't wait to connect! Come on in to vote on your back to school faves, relax after lunch, check out the fish before they move to Ms. Clare's room, find out how to register to vote (future voters, too...16/17 year olds), and celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month a bit early with a new book from the displays. Here's to a great year together, Ravens!

It's time to round up all your library books and turn them in. Check your email, look on the "My Info" tab in Follett Destiny, or chat with Mrs. Briley to see what titles you need to get in. Books should be turned in to Mrs. Briley on Monday (or to Mrs. Duhamel on other days of the week beginning June 4) so fines can be cleared.

April 21-27, 2024 is Volunteer Appreciation Week and I am so grateful for these wonderful people's cheerful help! Volunteers are always appreciated, but they mean SO MUCH when trying to run a library alone only one day a week. Thanks to parent volunteers Sam Patton, Kathea Yarnell, and my new "regulars" (pictured): Sam Winsky and Rachel Fitzgerald. Also, a special shout out goes to two amazing student readers who have been coming in at lunch to help shelve books, Jasmin and Liza. You are all cherished! ❤️
