Yesterday, Bothell Fire Department honored Captain Bob Delvecchio of Sky Valley Fire who gave 54 years of his life to the fire service, starting at the age of 16 as a fire explorer with Bothell Fire Department. Captain Delvecchio had just had his 70th birthday, and was still an active Captain. He touched countless lives and inspired many with his endless wealth of knowledge. He will be missed. Rest In Peace Captain Delvecchio.
