New mugs by Molly McCafferty in the shop 🐈⬛
Derived from the French word "decouper," meaning to cut out, decoupage is the art of decorating surfaces with cut-out paper images.
This timeless craft allows you to breathe new life into everyday objects. In this Spring focused workshop, we'll be using wooden eggs to create decor pieces that will honor both tradition and creativity, durable enough to stand the test of time.
You'll leave the workshop with a half dozen one of a kind patterned wooden eggs and some pretty sweet decoupage skills.
This workshop is located at Wyllo in the SoWa Art & Design District and open to all ages!
This workshop will run for a limited time on Wednesdays, Fridays, Saturdays & Sundays

Analise Austin is back teaching her popular Sterling Silver Gemstone and Stacking Ring workshop at Wyllo at SoWa!The next date will be Sunday March 29th 11am-1pm. In this class, you leave with 1-3 bespoke semi precious gemstone rings, perfectly fitted to you! Crawl out of your Winter hibernation for this fun and immersive Turkish lamp workshop! In this workshop you'll experiment with reverse glass painting using vibrant alcohol inks and creating geometric and floral designs using hand cut mosaic glass.
This workshop has been in the works for so long and I'm excited for it to finally come to life!

Looking for a cozy winter workshop? Our beginner friendly candle making class explores scent blending and the candling making process as you learn to create your own 100% soy wax candle. You'll get to take your candle home at the end of the workshop and while the candles are curing, we'll play candle trivia (with prizes!). Finally, you'll customize your candle jar with various labels and botanical decals to make a truly one of a kind product ⛄
This winter I'm offering various dates and times and can even accommodate private workshops if that's your jam!

Just a reminder that there are so many small businesses on Thayer St that are open during the SoWa Winter Festival - and not to mention the countless artist galleries, studios - like that just opened this year - and the one and only Vintage Market ✨
For many brick and mortar shops, the holidays are the lifeline that keeps them afloat during the winter months so that they can continue to breathe life into your local community and shape the way your neighborhood looks and feels. SoWa is the only part of Boston that exclusively rents their spaces out to small businesses and we think that's really cool and inspiring.
While it might be cold outside, we challenge you to bundle up, grab a hot chocolate and explore the entire SoWa Art & Design District this winter.
