MIT’s Plasma Science and Fusion Center (PSFC) is one of the leading university research laboratories in nuclear fusion. Home to PSFC, Alcator C-Mod is in many respects the most advanced fusion reactor in the US. C-Mod is absolutely essential to the domestic effort to develop clean and sustainable energy from nuclear fusion. (Learn more about the P

Jason Karl Margaritis is a student of Political Communication at Emerson College. After conducting research on fusion science for Senator John Kerry (D-MA), Jason developed a passion for Alcator C-Mod, MIT's magnetic confinement fusion reactor. He founded The Center for Fusion Science Advancement (FUSA) to fight for sustained federal funding to C-Mod and to help educate the public in the importance of maintaining a strong domestic fusion program.
