Some valentine messages are well worth sharing. Nice job, Old North Church:
You no doubt think about the 250th and its immense potential for how Boston communicates who/what it is. How it coalesces around both its evolving cultural identity and its fuller history. My organization just boosted that prospect in less than five minutes by joining. There is no obligation, only opportunity if you choose.
In case you didn't already know, Everyone250, a part of Embrace Boston, offers a space to broaden how our history is told - and who gets to tell it. Through community storytelling, immersive events, the arts and public activations, they invite us to support a living movement that makes history visible and inclusive. Over 100 groups have joined so far.

Lifting up those whose lives have been thrown into chaos by our country’s leadership through no fault of their own. They may be family, close associates, or simply those who contribute to the comfort of our personal lives or our organizations. They may be us. May we take this moment to think about how, even in the smallest way, we connect, how we care and how we counter this injustice.
Dozens of local historians, residents, generous researchers and friendly supporters have contributed to a project to extend Boston's Black history path into the North End. See attached details of two upcoming events. May these sessions provide added rich history and generate more learning for all of us.

May all of us hold active in our hearts, especially those of us who identify as white, the reality of being an American and going to simply buy food and wonder whether we will survive.

Looking for a meaningful way to lift up your MLKJr. holiday? This airs nationally on Monday. For those outside of Boston, check your local PBS schedule. In earlier airings in more than 70 locations, viewers found the story to not be about Boston alone.
