Cannot wait for the backyard to look like this again. I’ve been itching to get some spring planters started but the nightly temps are still a little too cold around here. If you’re feeling the same way and can’t wait. Think about cold/frost tolerant plants such as pansies, primrose, violas, p***y willow branches and daffodils. Then swapping in warmer stuff after Mother’s Day. Think of it as 2 phases.

Our most used room in the house got a little makeover. I need to finish styling the shelves and I’ll share what we did to make this little workhorse of a room function better for our family.

Designing the kitchen was only half the story.
This year’s long-overdue task: creating a styling inspiration board to prepare for that task to finally get checked off my list—thinking through every detail so the space is captured exactly as it was intended.

Mudrooms may be the workhorse of the home… but who says they can’t be beautiful too?

This space was designed to handle all the real life things—boots, bags, sports gear, daily chaos, while still feeling elevated and intentional. Because functional doesn’t have to mean forgotten.

Pretty finishes, thoughtful storage, and a little design magic go a long way in turning an everyday space into one you actually love walking into.

Me personally I love a good snow storm. There’s something about being hunkered down next to the fireplace with no place to be. But this cold 🥶 is another level. I’m not made for arctic temps.
