What a day. ๐
Saheli Conference 2026: Beyond Survival: Safety, Systems & Dignity brought together advocates, service providers, community leaders, students, and changemakers for a powerful day of learning, connection, and action.
From meaningful conversations on survivor-centered advocacy, cultural responsiveness, financial safety, and technology to moments of reflection, inspiration, and community, the day reminded us of what is possible when we come together with a shared purpose.
A heartfelt thank you to our attendees, volunteers, staff and supporters for helping make this conference such a success.
We are especially grateful to Representative Natalie Higgins, Mick Hirsch, Vilma Uribe, Noor Kazmi, Detective Linda Moschner, Dr. Kalyani Krishnan, Rehana Rahman, Jessie Lowell, Phil Scarff, and Jessica Teperow for sharing their expertise, wisdom, and passion with our community.
Thank you for being part of this movement. Together, we continue building a future rooted in safety, dignity, and hope. โจ๐

This May, weโre reminding ourselves and our community that mental health deserves care, compassion, and conversation. ๐ธ
Healing is not linear. Rest is productive. Asking for help is strength. And you do not have to carry it all alone.
At Saheli๏ฟผ, we believe emotional wellbeing is a part of safety, dignity, and healing. ๐
Take a breath. Check in with yourself. Reach out to someone you trust.
You matter more than you think. โจ

Today, we celebrate the mothers, caregivers, and nurturers who lead with endless love, resilience, and quiet strength. ๐
At Saheli๏ฟผ, we honor the women who hold families and communities together โ often while carrying so much themselves.
Wishing a gentle and love-filled Motherโs Day to all those who mother in their own way. ๐ธโจ

Denim Day is more than what we wear , itโs what we stand for.
It began after a court overturned a r**e conviction, claiming a survivorโs jeans implied consent. In response, people across the world wore denim to say one thing clearly: there is no excuse for sexual violence.
What someone wears is never consent.
At Saheli, being at the State House for Denim Day is about visibility, advocacy, and standing up for survivors especially those from South Asian and immigrant communities whose voices are often unheard.
Weโre here to challenge harmful narratives, support survivors, and remind every person:
you are not alone, and we believe you.

Grateful to see such strong support for Sexual Assault Awareness Month , especially from the Lieutenant Governor , who stood with us in raising awareness, supporting survivors, and pushing for a safer, more just community.

This , we stood together at Woburn City Hall alongside the Mayor Concannon to recognize the importance of awareness, prevention, and survivor support.
Change happens when communities and leadership come together and this is what that looks like. ๐
