Professional CPA firm in North Attleboro is seeking a dedicated Accountant / Bookkeeper for a permanent role with their team. This role offers a blend of in-office and remote work opportunities, ideal for a self-motivated professional who excels in a flexible environment.

Qualifications:
Associate's degree or higher in accounting preferred (not mandatory).
Two or more years of experience in accounting and bookkeeping.
Proficiency in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage monthly client financials using QuickBooks desktop and QuickBooks online.
Perform bookkeeping tasks and review the work of external bookkeepers.
Reconcile client bank statements, credit card accounts, and other financial records.
Willing to learn tax preparation.
Data entry of specific client tax information into projection and preparation software.
Communicate with clients to gather information and clarify transactions.
