Thereโs something powerful about pausing at the midpoint of a leadership journey to reflect, reconnect, and recommit. ๐ฟ
This week, members of the New Sector Alliance Leadership Longevity Fellowship gathered in person for a mid-point convening focused on community, collaboration, and collective action. Fellows explored opportunities to strengthen the Greater Boston food system through shared learning, ecosystem mapping, and collaborative problem-solving designed to create lasting systems-level impact. ()
The gathering was a reminder that sustainable leadership doesnโt happen in isolation โ itโs built through relationships, reflection, and the courage to imagine new possibilities together. ๐
From wellness-centered leadership practices to collaborative intervention design, fellows continue building the tools, resilience, and partnerships needed to lead meaningful change for the long haul. ๐ฑ

Boston LLF collaboration in action! ๐ We love seeing our participants teaming up to support each other, this time to help donate seafood products! Tell me more ๐
Every year, Food for Free recovers thousands of pounds of high quality seafood products from the annual Seafood Expo in Boston and redistributes it to various community partners, including the food pantry at Cambridge Community Center. This is one of the major highlights of the year for patrons who are able to freely select varieties of fish and shellfish that they would otherwise be unable to afford at the grocery store. This partnership between food rescue organizations like Food for Free and food redistribution sites like Cambridge Community Center helps cut down food waste at expo events while simultaneously improving the quality of products that are made available to families in need.
