We’re starting to see virtual PT apps and AI tools popping up that promise personalized care through video analysis, AI corrections, and exercise suggestions based on what your camera can “see.” And while innovation can be exciting, we believe your body deserves more than an algorithm 🤖
So, here’s our hot take 👇👇
A human Physical Therapist is better than asking AI for physical therapy advice.
Should this be a hot take? We don’t think so…but we know there are questions around AI tools so here’s a breakdown on why we recommend a human DPT for your physical therapy needs 💪
…Wondering where we stand on virtual sessions with a human DPT? 🤔 Check out slide 6 for more details but the TLDR: virtual sessions with a human are way different than AI tools, so it’s a solid option as you’re still getting a tailored treatment plan and individualized care!

How are you feeling today?
That’s how every session starts. From there, we determine if we need to get you on the table to do some manual treatment to get you out of pain. Or — if you’re feeling good, it’s right into the gym. Time to sweat 🏋️
That’s right, not all PT is massage and stretching. At Ripple, our goal is to get you out of pain, fix the root cause of your pain, and then get you stronger than before…so be ready to get active and start strengthening 💪
But don’t worry, you’re not getting sent to the gym on your own. During your session, your PT is guiding you through your workout, keeping an eye on your form and modifying the plan in real time. They’re checking in, adjusting the weight, making sure you’re activating the right muscle groups and overall ensuring you’re getting the best workout in for your goals.
Strength training with a Physical Therapist is the best way to get stronger, get and stay out of pain, and do what you love forever.

Work buddies 🤝 Workout buddies
Do we have clinic notes to finish? Probably.. but we also gotta get our workout in and quality check the PT exercises that were giving our clients 🫡
So, just know that if you cancel your appointment and the PTs are left alone in the clinic for too long, this is how you’ll probably find them 🏋️

Running is one of the most accessible and popular forms of exercise — but it’s also one of the most injury-prone.
The repetitive impact, lack of variety in movement patterns, and often poor recovery habits make runners particularly susceptible to overuse injuries.
Swipe ➡️ for a rundown of a few common injuries for runners and how PT can help with the prevention and recovery of these issues.
👉 Reminder for all our runners out there, what often starts as mild discomfort can turn into persistent pain if not addressed early and you don’t need to wait until you feel pain to see a PT.
We specialize in working with runners of all levels — from casual joggers to marathoners — to not only treat injuries but also prevent them from recurring. With targeted assessments and individualized treatment plans, Ripple PTs help runners correct movement inefficiencies, strengthen weak links, and recover without losing momentum 🏃💨
