This recognition is special not simply because of the achievement itself, but because of what it represents.

The truth is that leadership and volunteering come with a cost. There are meetings after work, weekends away from home, phone calls that can’t wait, and many moments our families sacrifice right alongside us. The people closest to us often give up time with us so we can serve something bigger than ourselves.

This recognition reflects the trust of her clients, the support of her colleagues, the strength of her NAHREP family, and especially the encouragement of those who stand behind her through the late nights, early mornings, and busy schedules.

To everyone serving on boards, volunteering their time, leading organizations, and working to make a difference while balancing business and family, we see you. The work matters. The impact matters.

Big things happen when communities have leaders who fight for them. Today, Jennifer and Rey, now representing Boston, joined the announcement of $1.2 million in federal funding for the Casey Bridge, South Canal, and Daisy Street Bridge improvements in Lawrence.

Projects like this are about more than infrastructure. They’re about safer streets, stronger neighborhoods, economic growth, and investing in the future of our communities.

It was great to see local, state, and federal leaders come together to support a project that will have a lasting impact on the City of Lawrence.

Progress happens when people show up, work together, and keep pushing forward.
