Memories of Tim Wakefield. Every year Boston Cigar Factory would sponsor his and Jason Veritek's charity at Granite Links Golf Course in Quincy. Outside of being a great ball player who was known for his knuckleball and for being the longest serving player on the Red Sox, his importance was how much he did for charity including pitching in for Kids which provided underserved kids in New England a better life. He was always approachable to his fans, who will remember his greatness and miss his easy smile.
