A slight lack of photos, but no shortage of hardware at 70.3 Washington! 🏆
Maia Du Toit won her AG in 4:34 and finished 3rd female overall.
Coach Juliet Thompson Hochman also took the AG win in 4:41 — and narrowly won her 200m running bet with Maia 😂
Anastasia Jones finished 2nd in her AG in 4:54 while Sneeta Takhar took 3rd in her AG in 5:43 — both earning their 2027 World’s slot!
Some big improvements across the field:
💥Brian Huang — 4:45, 11 min faster than last year
💥Natasha Houldson — 5:39, 59 min faster than 2024
💥Shivali Bloom — 6:19, 58 min faster than last year
And a special shoutout to Sophie Fox for completing her first 70.3 in 5:41 before heading off to row at the University of Washington! 🏊♀️
And congratulations to Ruslan Strogantsev (5:11), Terry Cruz Jr. (5:37), Mathew Wilson (6:11) and Jacques Du Toit (6:25, 4th AG) for all racing too 🎉

Sometimes after a big race, athletes can feel a little lost with “what’s next” (or they immediately sign up for three more races 😋).
The off-season is a great opportunity to embrace a more relaxed training schedule, spend time with friends and family, and recover from the hard training and racing you’ve put in.
When it’s time to add more structure, we work with our athletes to set goals and identify weaknesses to target heading into the next season.
The primary focus of off-season training? Rebuilding your aerobic foundation, keeping intensity low, and giving your body time to absorb the work you’ve done.
At LifeSport, we work with athletes who have busy lifestyles and big goals. If that sounds like you, jump on a quick call to chat about your 2027 goals and dreams! 💭
