Finishes have started!

It's been a big push to finish framing, get rough mechanicals in, insulate, and finally hang blueboard. The plaster allows these spaces to finally be legible—the light, the shadow, subtle spatial detailing. WE ARE EXCITED.

Bye bye framing.

"Kissing Korner Konfirmation Kmockup" or "Kiss, don't miss"

It's important that the six planes and the resulting lines created by plaster edges come together to form a single point—a kissing corner. Doesn't hurt to build a quick mockup to confirm.

Through the provocation of 's "Co-Creating Boston's Future-Decker Competition," we spent some time thinking about the ubiquitous Triple-Decker.

Scale. By introducing a hip roof to the volume of this two-family, we were able to minimize a very tall façade on a challenging sloping site.
