This was part of a multi-model and photographer shoot done in honor of AAPI Heritage Month in May. Although AAPI month is long past, I wanted to shout out all my fellow AAPI creatives! There’s such an insane amount of talent in the community in all mediums of art and I’ve been lucky to run into many amazing and creative AAPI individuals. Going forward, one of my goals is to work with more creatives in this community. Let’s keep up the amazing work 💪🏼💯. Thank you to for setting this up!

🌖All the beauty of life is made up of light and shadow 🌖

When I first got into portraiture and fashion photography, I was all about even lighting—it made things simpler. But over time, I’ve found harsh light or settings with both light and shadows to be the most fun and intriguing to work with—every setting is different and feels like a puzzle to solve. What do you guys prefer? Even light or uneven/harsher light?

I realized yesterday that it’s been about a month since I last posted. To be honest it’s been a bit of a struggle the last few months to find the motivation to get content out. I’ve needed some time to take a step back from the grind and realign with what truly excites me about photography in the first place without putting pressure on myself to just produce content. Got to travel a bit and spend time with friends 💕. Now I feel more refreshed and ready to bounce back stronger 💪🏽 📸
