Summertime crappie catch on the White-tip Custom. It doesn't get much better than that. Way to go Emmett!

It's been a wild week. We kicked it off by harvesting cherries and putting them to use in a delicious dessert. We wrapped things up by helping family prepare for the West Fork of the Des Moines River to crest.

We're looking forward to geting back into the rod shop early this week!

Damage Control Day! The ceramic insert was lost from this tip-top, and the jagged frame edge was cutting fishing line. We installed a new tip-top so this really nice G-Loomis can get back out on the water!

We recently had the opportunity to put several of our rods to work across the border. It's sure tough to beat a week of fishing with family and friends.

Here's a 6'8" Medium Ex-Fast Walleye rod that we just finished. My daughter named it " Starry Night".

We had fun testing this rod in the yard today, before it heads to Canada. It's a smooth rig that "bomb" casts! We were consistently hitting 50 yards with 6lb mono and a 3/8oz casting plug.

I just finished off this custom Walleye rod for my long-time fishing/hunting buddy. Go get em Paul!
